“Accepting Imperfection” is the theme for the 2024-25 Reflections Art Program, which has been bringing the arts to life for more than 10 million students since 1969. This amazing program increases community awareness of the importance of arts in education. Encourage the arts and recognize student artwork through the PTA Reflections Program.

Reflections encourages students of all ages to:

  • Unleash creative talents and be inspired

  • Express themselves imaginatively in their artwork

  • Experience the fun and joy of making art

  • Tap into critical thinking skills to create art inspired by the annual theme

  • Receive positive recognition for their original works of art.

More about Reflections…

Membership in PTA provides the opportunity to participate in the National PTA Reflections program.

Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student selected theme. This 50+ year-old program helps them explore their own thoughts, feelings, and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence, and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.

Ninth District PTA Reflections Art Showcase

This past March Ninth District PTA  held an event showcasing the Award of Excellence and Award of Merit recipients. We had over 100 students participate in this year's Reflections Art Program with the theme "I am Hopeful Because...".  Here is a link to view the video of the Award of Excellence Art submissions that were sent up to California State PTA for further judging
